These seven lucky cousins had the chance to have Grandma in town for Thanksgiving. I think the first picture shows how much they seem to adore her AND her visits!

{kate and ian}
Two of the most photogenic kids I have ever met. They were both so well behaved about having their picture taken. Cute, cute kids!

{easy breezy}
These guys were so awesome about getting their picture taken. The boys are very aware that little sis rules the roost but are quite okay with it.
Thanks for making my job easy!

{smith family}
I have SO many more to edit from this morning, but just wanted all you girls to know that it was worth the pain! It was definitely a joint effort, ladies!

an attempt
The pictures in my house of my kids are SO old, it's driving me crazy. So since Carter had the day off today I set out on the quest to do some pictures. I promised the kids ice cream afterwards, only one kid got the ice cream; can you guess who?
I loved our first location but after being there for only 5 mins. they kicked us out. Afterwards we got some lunch and just shot a few at a building right by the restaurant.
I love how these pictures make my kids look so sweet and innocent. I need to post them all over my house so I can remember that they do have a good side to them!

little Personalities
Why is it that we dread getting our kids pictures taken? I know I do!
I think it's all the work that goes into getting them ready and out the door to watch them whine, cry, run away, until you just give up.
However, one thing that I've found I really enjoy is "doing" child photography. I really feel like you can tell a childs personality through a picture and I love being able to capture that.
I won't lie, one-on-one is definitely the easiest.
